After 25 years serving London with the London Ambulance Service, I started this business as a way to process the trauma that comes with caring for a city of millions. Before that, I had a career on LIFFE and even spent a short stint as Hagrid’s hand double on Harry Potter — but it was woodworking that truly captured my heart.

What began as therapy quickly became a passion. I fell in love with the sustainability of working with responsibly sourced timber and the quiet satisfaction of transforming raw wood into something both beautiful and functional. Every board I make reflects that journey — crafted with care, resilience, and a deep respect for the natural character of the wood.
